Bay of Plenty Kindergartens brace for drop in numbers

The Bay of Plenty news reports that Kindergartens across the Western Bay of Plenty are bracing for a drop in numbers as families pull their children out from them because of looming fee increases.

The fee rise will be brought on by the government’s new funding scheme in February 2011, according to the Tauranga region’s Kindergartens Association principal Peter Monteith.
