New Zealand Kindergartens committed to 100% qualified teachers
Representatives from New Zealand Kindergartens the umbrella organisation representing twenty nine kindergarten
associations met for their conference in Wellington last Friday and Saturday - while we were preoccupied with the march in Tauranga they told Anne Tolley what they thought of the cuts, passed a resolution supporting 100% qualified teachers, demanding the reinstatement of the funding and slammed the cuts in a fantastic interview on TV1.
What a weekend of activism and commitment by teachers, employers and the community!
